Galaxy S8 in Burgundy Red Screencap: Samsung

Samsung’s latest color option for the Galaxy S8 is called Burgundy Red and tech pundits have hailed it as one of the most beautiful color options ever released by the manufacturer. However, this model of the Galaxy S8 will see limited availability as it is expected to release only in South Korea.

Samsung recently unveiled the Burgundy Red Galaxy S8 on Facebook, in a contest intended for Korean consumers.

Samsung commonly releases special color options of its flagships exclusive for specific markets. This launch appears to be in accordance with the fall and winter seasons. Other special Galaxy S8 color options include the Rose Pink Galaxy S8+, which is available in Taiwan, where the color option is popular among young women.

Other Galaxy S8 color options include Orchid Grey, Midnight Black, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue and Maple Gold. All of these models are available in the U.S. except for the Maple Gold options.

As a reprieve, Samsung recently announced the Galaxy Note 8 will soon be available in the Deep Sea Blue color option in the U.S. The manufacturer announced the color option during the Galaxy Note 8 official launch in August, but this far it has been available only in markets, such as Canada and Germany.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch dual-edge curved infinity display while the Galaxy S8 Plus features a 6.2-inch display. Both devices include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 chip, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with microSD expansion. Camera features include a 12-megapixel rear lens and 8-megapixel front lens with f/1.7 aperture and auto HDR. The Galaxy S8 features a 3,000mAh battery and the Galaxy S8 Plus features a 3,500mAh battery.
