Samsung might launch not one, but three variants of its flagship device, the Galaxy S8, in 2017. The device, which is creating a lot of buzz as we get close to its launch, is expected to have S8 Edge and S8 Plus versions.

If we go by the tradition the company has followed since the S4, we might even see a Galaxy S8 Active by the end of 2017.

Phone Arena reported that the device and its variants might be launched on Feb. 26, a day prior to Mobile World Congress, despite recent reports saying that it was launching in April 2017 due to the Note 7 investigation.

What remains to be seen is how Samsung differentiates the S8 Edge from S8, since the flagship device is expected to have a bezel-less edge-to-edge pressure-sensitive display.

Samsung is also expected to ditch the home button for a display-embedded fingerprint sensor and a dual-lens camera.

But the biggest rumors about the device concern a foldable display and an S-Pen Stylus with speakers. It might be the case that these rumors might be applicable to S8 variants instead of the S8 smartphone.
