Samsung has announced the all new Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) tablet in Germany. A few months ago, the South Korean company had also unveiled Galaxy Tab 7.0 (2016).

The two variants of Galaxy Tab A 10.1 are now listed on the official Samsung Germany website. The LTE model has a model number of SM-T585 and the Wi-Fi only variant has a model number of SM-T580.

The dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) are 155.3 x 254.2 x 8.2 mm and it weighs 585 grams. It is available in color options like black and white.

The tablet features a 10.1-inch display that supports a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by Exynos 7870 chipset that includes an octa-core processor that clocks at 1.6 GHz, Phone Arena reported.

The chipset is supported by 2 GB of RAM. The native storage of the tablet is 16 GB. It features a rear camera of 8-megapixel. Its frontal camera is of 2-megapixel. The tablet comes preinstalled with Android 6.0. 1 Marshmallow OS.

The LTE model supports download speeds of up to 300 Mbps. The bottom side of the tablet features two stereo speakers. It is powered by a massive battery of 7300 mAh capacity.

In Germany, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) will be available from next month. The Wi-Fi only edition of the tablet costs 289 euros ($329) and its LTE variant costs 349 euros ($397). As of this writing, Samsung has not released information on as to when it will be making the tablet available in the U.S.

Rumors have that the company is working on a powerful Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Advanced tablet, The Verge reported. The rumored specs of the tablet include 10.1-inch display, 2 GB of RAM, 128 GB microSD cad support, 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel frontal snapper, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and 6,800 mAh battery.
