One of the biggest competitors of Apple's iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab will now be carried on bicycles.

UK-based bicycle manufacturer, 14 Bike Co., collaborated with Samsung to create a top-range bike with a holder exclusively designed to accommodate the 10.1-inch tablet.

The holder is made of carbon fiber and is detachable so the tab user does not have to remove the device from the holder. The case weighs only 125 grams and with the tab in it the user has to carry less than 700 grams (Galaxy tab weighs 565 grams).

Accessible from the side, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 holder allows the device to be used easily whilst on the move, The Tech Herald quoted the 14 Bike Co. press release.

Since Samsung Galaxy Tab comes in two colors (white and black), the bike company has also decided to bring out the tab bike in dual tone so the bicycle matches the device.

The tab users can download speed and heart rate monitor applications and check it while they are on the move as bicycles from 14 Bike Co. do not come with a speedometer.
