Samsung Electronics Co. (KRX: 005930) is offering prospective customers a chance to try out the latest Galaxy devices with a 21-day free trial program. The manufacturer set up Samsung Galaxy Studio locations in five U.S. cities where the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note 3, and the Gear 2 and Gear Fit companion devices will be available for loan:

Dallas-Fort Worth/Frisco, TX: Stonebriar Centre Mall, 2601 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75034

Houston/The Woodlands, TX: The Woodlands Mall, 1201 Lake Woodlands Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380

Los Angeles/Canoga Park, CA: Westfield Topanga, 6600 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Canoga Park, CA 91303

New York City: Samsung Galaxy Studio SoHo, 130 Prince Street, NY, NY

Santa Clara, CA: Westfield Valley Fair, 2855 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050

To participate in the trial program, customers must leave a deposit using a credit or debit card, which is refunded when the device is returned in undamaged condition.

Samsung’s trial program comes not long after T-Mobile US Inc. (NYSE: TMUS) announced its Test Drive service, under which customers can try a T-Mobile-powered iPhone 5s handset for one week, free of charge. T-Mobile struck an exclusive deal with Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) for Test Drive to raise awareness for both brands.
