Samsung Electronics <005930.KS> said on Thursday it had filed a complaint against Apple with the U.S. International Trade Commission, claiming that the firm infringed its wireless technology and mobile device user interface.

Samsung said in a statement it was seeking to ban entry to the United States of all Apple products violating its patents and would continue to actively defend (its) intellectual property.

The case, which Samsung said it filed on June 28, adds to a series of legal suits the two firms have filed against each other over their flagship smartphone and tablet products.
