Santa Claus was shot during a toy giveaway Tuesday in Washington, D.C.
The man wearing the Santa suit was shot two times in the back with a pellet gun, according to D.C. television station WUSA. Authorities believe Santa was shot from a nearby home.
"Somebody just shot me," the man dressed as Santa says on the above video captured by WJLA, hunching over and grunting in pain. "My back, my back, my back. Somebody just shot me in the back .. It's a pellet gun. Someone just shot me with a pellet gun. They're shooting, they're shooting, they're shooting."
The incident is still under investigation. The Santa suffered minor injuries in the shooting.
