Sarah Ferguson revealed that her new “boyfriend” was her healthy eating juicer. She made a special appearance on the U.S. shopping channel QVC at its headquarters in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Ferguson was at the channel earlier this week to promote a juicer that helped her lose weight.

Prince Andrew’s ex-wife said she used the Fusion Xcelerator blender to make her own juices and even called the gadget her “boyfriend” in a lighter vein, crediting it with helping her stay slim and trim. While speaking to the host on the show, the mother of two said that she was finally able to overcome cruel taunts about her weight, after successfully losing 55 pounds (three stones) earlier this year.

The 55-year-old, who previously promoted Weight Watchers in the U.S., thanked the American people for helping to build her confidence. “Americans have been so good to me. They helped me build my confidence,” she said, adding that they gave her children their mother back as they believed in second chances. She also admitted that she made mistakes in her life and put on weight.

The Duchess participated in a live demonstration, where she showed the process of making a breakfast smoothie. She used ingredients like lemon peel, cayenne pepper, pineapple and ginger, and an iced coffee with whipped cream for the healthy drink.

She looked slim in a color block dress from Roland Mouret , known for his figure flattering dresses. Her dress was in a combination of green and blue colorway. Sarah is also engaged in promoting the gadget on her website Duchess Discoveries. Before the show, she took to Twitter to show her excitement.
