Who needs a stylist when you have a 2-year-old daughter?

For the 2012 Golden Globes, Sarah Michelle Gellar put the responsibility of choosing a dress in the hands of her daughter Charlotte. The little one opted to dress her mother in a blue and white tie-dye gown from Monique Lhuillier. The dress certainly turned heads, but not neccessarily for the right reasons. Between the accessories and the dress, there was just too much going on, said Lauren Paxman of the Daily Mail.

Gellar, who joined fellow actress Piper Perabo onstage to present the award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series, miniseries, or TV Movie, said: It's funny - I didn't try on that many dresses... My 2-year-old walked in, walked up to this dress and said, Mama, wear this! So I put it on and said, 'OK!'.

Gellar said her daughter also chose her accessories.

This could explain why the Buffy actress made it onto many popular style critics' worst-dressed list for the recent award ceremony. Still, we think she should be on a 'best-mom' list for taking her daughter's advice.

The 34-year-old, who was also nominated for a Golden Globe in 2001, for her role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, can be seen playing the role of twin sisters Bridget Kelly and Siobhan Martin on the hit TV series, The Ringer. Let's just hope she's not seen wearing that dress again.
