Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin slammed “Girls” creator Lena Dunham in a lengthy Facebook post Thursday after the Duggar family addressed Josh’s sex scandal on Fox News Wednesday night. Palin smacked “radical liberals in media” for the apparent double standard in how the Duggar sex scandal was covered versus how Dunham’s apparent molestation of her younger sister was reported.

In all capital letters, she addressed the writer: “Hey Lena, why not laugh everyone’s sexual ‘experiments’ as you haughtily enjoy rewards for your own perversion? You pedophile, you.”

In Dunham’s book “Not That Kind Of Girl,” she talked about bribing her sister with candy to kiss her as “anything a sexual predator might do to woo a small suburban girl” and told a story about a time she opened her sister’s vagina when she was playing on the driveway.

“The intolerant left's destructive personal intrusions and narrow-mindedness applied to their chosen targets are bad enough, but their double standards are beyond the pale,” Palin wrote, adding that she did not defend Josh’s actions. "Case in point, they suggest Lena Dunham's sexual assault on her sibling is cute, and she's rewarded for it with fame and fortune. Meanwhile, they crucify another, along with an entire family.”

While Josh and his family are being scrutinized in the media, so was Dunham -- even if Palin doesn’t remember it that way. "The right-wing news story that I molested my little sister isn't just LOL -- it's really ... upsetting and disgusting," Dunham said in response to the molestation accusations.
