Sarah Palin’s up-swept beehive hair-do is getting its own TV show on TLC. Actually the hair salon, in her hometown Wasilla, Alaska, that gave her the bouffant, will feature on a reality show on the cable network

The hair salon, aptly named the Beehive Beauty Shop, gave the former Alaskan Governor and vice-presidential candidate (2008) the hair style. The reality show, “Big Hair Alaska” will be aired in a two-part format in September on the network.

TLC also aired the "Sarah Palin’s Alaska," an eight-part docu-series on the former Alaska governor.

The shop proprietor is Jessica Steele, and the shop refused to confirm or deny whether the possible presidential nominee frequents the salon till date or not, reports the Boston Herald.

“TLC just announced their fall lineup, and we are on it!!!! Our show is called Big Hair Alaska!!!! Omg!!! It's really happening!!!! :),”

“This special goes inside a busy hair salon is Wasilla, AK, where the personalities of the owner and her staff are as big as the hairstyles they create,” said a spokesperson for TLC, reports Daily Mail.

There is already a Facebook fan page called the "Big Hair Alaska”, with 522 likes!
