“Scorpion” Season 4 has just been renewed by CBS.

According to TV Line, the Elyes Gabel-starrer is just one of the many TV shows renewed by the network on Friday. Other shows include “Madam Secretary,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Life In Pieces,” “Mom,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “Blue Bloods” and “NCIS: Los Angeles.”

Unfortunately, a handful of other TV shows have not received the green light from the network. This includes “Code Black,” “2 Broke Girls,” “Elementary,” “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” “The Great Indoors,” “The Odd Couple” and “Undercover Boss.” The three shows that have already been canceled include “Doubt,” “Pure Genius” and “Training Day.” CBS executives said that other renewals will be announced at a later date.

Meanwhile, it is still unclear how many episodes “Scorpion” Season 4 will have. The series, which also stars Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham and Robert Patrick, started with a total of 22 episodes in Season 1. In Season 2, there were a total of 24 episodes, while Season 3 is expected to have 25 episodes.

“Scorpion” Season 3 is currently on a short hiatus and will return with episode 21 on April 10 at 10 p.m. EST. Episode 21, titled “Rock Block,” will see Team Scorpion defying the orders of a foreign government after they retrieve an asteroid from space containing DNA strands that could have deadly consequences. As expected, Cabe (Patrick) and Walter (Gabel) will take the lead in their team’s mission.

Elsewhere, Happy (Wong) and Toby (Thomas) will continue discussing their plans for their wedding. But whether or not it will actually push through this Season 3 is something fans needs to watch out for in the coming weeks.
