‘Scorpion’
Mark (Joshua Leonard) will try to help Team Scorpion in “Scorpion” Season 4. CBS

“Scorpion” Season 4 will see the return of Mark Collins (Joshua Leonard) in the two-part premiere episode.

In the teaser released by CBS exclusively via Entertainment Weekly, Mark arrives at Team Scorpion’s office with Agent Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick). He is taken under Cabe’s custody to partake in one of the team’s upcoming missions. When she reunites with the gang, Happy (Jadyn Wong) is the first one to see her, and she’s not very pleased. In fact, when Mark calls Happy his friend, she immediately says that they are not.

Mark also tells the team that he has undergone a series of psychological treatments so he is in a much better state at the moment. After a few more unwarranted statements, Mark says that he’s delighted to learn that Paige (Katharine McPhee) and Walter (Elyes Gabel) are now officially together.

At one point, Mark will insult Walter by saying that he is not really interested in sex or other physical encounters with his girlfriend. Cabe could no longer listen to his statements and decides to make him stop. The head of Team Scorpion also prevents Mark from disrespecting Paige, and he immediately apologizes.

Meanwhile, Mark was one of the biggest villains in the previous season of “Scorpion.” In fact, he even tried to murder Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) in Season 2. But in Season 4, he holds some valuable information that could prevent Team Scorpion from going extinct.

While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Nicholas Wootton talked about Mark’s return. “We really have no choice but to get him out because he’s the only guy who knows where it is, and he won’t tell where he is. Collins is absolutely insistent and is very seemingly convincing that he is a changed man. He says a lot of the right things. It’s very fun to watch this actor play this color of Collins as reformed,” he said.

Mark’s return will also result in Paige and Walter’s first professional fight as a couple. Walter thinks having Mark around is what’s best for the team, but Paige doesn’t agree.

“Scorpion” Season 4 will premiere on CBS on Oct. 27 at 9 p.m. EDT.
