Tampa born artist Scott Blake has created a series of artworks involving reworking of barcodes that has been displayed at various galleries.

He won the Adobe Design Achievement Award for his effort and vision.

Blake's work has also been featured in various magazines and his site has also been translated into many languages.

His early works were based entirely on the idea of creating images and art from barcodes, which have become quite popular these days. But unlike Pop Art, he has used barcodes to create the images.

Blake had started this project around the time the Y2K bug was much talked about and when there was a craze with barcode-style artworks and designs.
