Kanye West is stepping in as the voice of reason in Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's recent split. Kourtney broke off her nine-year relationship with Scott over Fourth of July weekend after growing tired of his partying lifestyle. Now the 38-year-old rapper, who is married to Kourtney's sister, Kim Kardashian West, is said to be pushing Scott to do the right thing for himself and his children.

According to Us Weekly, West has urged Scott to seek treatment for substance abuse issues. Sources say the “All Day” rapper wants the 32-year-old Disick to “get his act together for the kids,” of which he has three. West has reportedly been in Disick’s ear since the split. West advised him to cancel upcoming club appearances, like the one he was slated to do at 1OAK Las Vegas on July 9, and check himself into a rehab facility.

“Kanye told him he needs to 'man up' and go to rehab,” the source said.

West isn’t the only person in Disick’s life worried about his issues with substance abuse. Kourtney has been very vocal through the years about Disick's struggles with alcoholism. It is widely believed that Disick’s lack of dedication to getting sober was a contributing factor in the couple’s split. As previously reported, many of his friends are worried he may be in danger of overdosing. They have been trying tirelessly to get him to seek help.

Disick is currently believed to be staying on Long Island, New York, where he grew up. He has been spotted by fans out and about, but has been laying low otherwise. Neither he nor Kourtney has publicly addressed their breakup.
