The Chanels are back, “idiot hookers,” and they’re ready to cause more chaos — and wear more shades of pink — when “Scream Queens” returns with its anticipated Season 2 premiere this fall.
But a new season of the FX dramedy means new fashion choices for the stylish trio. Instead of sporting their Kappa Kappa Tau letters, Chanel (Emma Roberts) and her minions will upgrade their collegiate couture for a doctor’s uniform in the forthcoming season, which is set to take place in a hospital.
Fans of the sidesplitting series received a sneak-peek look at the sorority girls’ Season 2 fashion choices in the first released “Scream Queens” trailer. In different hues of pink, Chanel, Chanel No. 3 (Billie Lourd) and Chanel No. 5 (Abigail Breslin) sassily strut their blonde-haired selves down a sterile, white hospital hallway to the beat of Gwen Stefani’s hit single “Spark the Fire.” Guess the girls are running the hospital instead of being patients!
In the Season 1 finale of “Scream Queens,” fans watched the Chanels got carted off to a mental institution, which is where they were sentenced to live out the rest of their lives after Chanel insulted all the “hippos” in the jury. It was at the mental institution that Chanel was then paid a visit by an old friend: The Red Devil — the mysterious, masked villain who wrecked havoc in the freshman installment.
Fans will get to watch the Chanels put the “mad diva in M.D.” when “Scream Queens” returns with its Season 2 premiere on Fox Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 9 p.m. EDT.
