This November movie goers will have the opportunity to watch Sean Penn, larger than life, walk across the screen looking like a middle aged Hot Topic patron Entertainment Weekly reports. "This Must Be the Place," which first debuted at the Cannes Film Festival over a year ago has finally gotten a release date, so mark your calendars for Nov. 2.

In addition to the lure of Penn rocking lipstick and eyeliner the film, directed by Paolo Sorrentino, also boasts big name co-stars like Frances McDormand and Eve Hewson (whose fame comes mostly from her famous father-U2's Bono).

"This Must Be the Place" follows Cheyenne (Penn), a rocker past his prime who goes on a mission to find the Nazi who abused his father while in a concentration camp. The trailer reveals Cheyenne has a sort of Edward Scissorhands demeanor and tone (and hair), seeming not necessarily anti-social but certainly not well socialized. The film currently has a 69 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
