Felix Hernandez is looking to make history on Wednesday afternoon.

The starter is pitching a perfect game in the Seattle Mariners contest against the Rays. It would be the second perfect game of 2012. The Mariners were on the opposite end of the White Sox Philip Humber's perfect outing on June. 21.

There have already been five no-hitters this season. Six Mariners pitchers combined to throw one against the Dodgers just five days before Cain entered the record books

If you don't live near Seattle or Tampa Bay, you can still watch the game. It is MLB.TV's "Free Game of the Day. Click here to watch a free live stream online of the contest.

Hernandez isn't just having one good game. He's been one of the best pitchers in the American League this season. He was 10-5 with a 2.74 EERA entering Wednesday's matchup.

The Rays would be one of the more likely candidates to go an entire game without a batter reaching base. They are 12th in the American League with 477 runs scored.

It would be the first no-hitter of Hernandez's career.
