Sector 10 Inc. is focused on redefining the emergency response paradigm from centralized equipment staging to onsite pre-deployed resources. Sector 10 is the only emergency response company so strongly emphasizing pre-deployed resources as the way to save lives, avert injuries and reduce liabilities.

Sector 10 believes that events over the past decade have revealed vulnerability in the way that both the public and private sector respond to emergencies. This vulnerability is the result of emergency response systems having remained virtually unchanged for decades. Sector 10 believes that the path to follow is one from being a reactive dependent paradigm to a proactive independent pre-deployed system.

Sector 10 products include both stationary response units (SRU) and mobile response units (MRU). The company’s MRUs provide the mobility, modularity, customization and personalization that first responders need when they arrive at a disaster site. An MRU effectively provides a portable sanctuary – a desperately needed safe environment for victims and emergency professionals. These response units offer shelter, utilities, comforts, supplies and equipment.

Sector 10 has two types of stationary response units – a regular SRU and a SRU with media (SRU-Media). The regular SRU offers first responders and building occupants with many critical features including: first aid supplies such as an eye wash system and iodine tablets, life saving equipment such as chemical and biological masks, occupant tracking through a real-time 3D interface, and emergency communications abilities.

The company’s SRU with media, in addition to the multiple benefits listed above, also offer messaging components to generate revenue channels during times of normal operations. SRU-Media includes a flat screen video monitor that can be used for advertising, corporate branding and other messaging needs. This allows purchasers of the unit to convert a non-revenue producing, must-have device into an interactive revenue generating product.
