In a recent interview on New Zealand radio, Selena Gomez cleared up some rumors and misconceptions about her love life. The “Heart Wants What It Wants” singer played a game called "Tabloid True or False," during which she was asked a lot of questions related to Katy Perry, her ex-flame Zedd and how she “had a thing for him.”

"Is it true that you called Katy Perry after the 'Bad Blood' video just to make sure she knew that you were acting and you weren't being mean to her?" host Sharyn asked Gomez, according to E! Online. The Texan beauty said the rumors were false, clarifying that she “just talked” to Perry but their conversation was not about “Bad Blood.”

"She's amazing. But I didn't talk about that, but I just talked to her. She's awesome," Gomez said.

The former Disney star, 22, also asserted that the media sensationalized false stories about her being pregnant. "I think it's going to always happen but at the end of the day people see it," said the actress."So if people were to say, 'Hey, she's pregnant,' well they are going to see in nine months that I'm not."

But the singer/actress is not bothered about what the tabloids write about her. Gomez said that when stories are a “blatant lie -- things are going to come into the truth instantly."

The radio station also questioned her about what DJ Diplo said about her relationship with singer Zedd. In a previous interview, Diplo said that Zedd had a “fake relationship with Selena Gomez, all the things to sell records took away from the music."

But Gomez downplayed the comment, saying she spoke with Diplo about it and he confessed to her that it was “just a joke.” "First off, It's very interesting that Diplo would think he knew about my personal life, but he doesn't," Gomez continued. "I adore Anton [Zedd] a lot and I definitely had a thing with him, which was nice."
