Selena Gomez is back on Instagram.

The singer-actress, who has the most number of followers on the social media app, broke her silence by posting a message of gratitude right in time for Thanksgiving.

Posting a photo of herself with some of her fans behind her, Gomez said: “I have a lot to be thankful for this year… My year has been the hardest yet most rewarding one yet. I’ve finally fought the fight of not ‘being enough.’ I have only wanted to reflect the love you guys have given me for years and show how important it is to take care of YOU. By grace through faith. Kindness always wins. I love you guys. God bless.”

The “Same Old Love” singer announced that she was taking time off from work and social media in August. The actress said she was going to use the time away from the spotlight to address issues that stem from having lupus.

In a statement obtained by CNN, Gomez said: “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges. I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off.”

The “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” singer came out with the news that she has lupus in October 2015. During an appearance on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the singer said she learned about the condition three years prior to letting the world know about it. The singer took a bit of time off in 2013 before entering rehab to get treated for her illness.

While she has been active again online, Gomez has yet to announce whether she is back to work again. The singer wrapped up her “Revival” tour in August.
