Just recently, Selena Gomez made her fans very happy when she returned into the spotlight as Coach’s newest brand ambassador. But what thrilled the singer’s followers more was her social media presence following her three-month hiatus.

The 24-year-old “Hands to Myself” hitmaker finally returned on social media after taking a 20-week break. Even though Gomez had been posting some photos in recent weeks, she had just shared her very first Instagram story, as per Daily Mail.

Gomez, however, was not alone on her Instagram post as she was joined by former “Wizards of Waverly Place” co-actor David Henrie. On the video, Gomez shared how Henrie helped her make a Twitter account, which the latter bragged, saying the “Monte Carlo” actress didn’t know about at the time.

Moreover, the former Disney child stars also talked about their “Wizards of Waverly Place” characters. Although both of them agreed about Henrie’s character, Justin Russo, being married with kids, they seemed to have contradicting thoughts when it came to Gomez’s character, Alex Russo, whom Henrie predicted to be single and finding herself.

"You have kids. Alex is for sure single," Gomez said, Entertainment Tonight quoted. Henrie added, "Yeah, Justin has, like, 15 children. Alex is single; she's still trying to find herself. She's now, like, 25, and she's trying to figure things out."

Gomez, on the other hand, interjected that Alex is the one "who’s killing the game." Aside from her first Instagram story, the actress' fans also went crazy when they discovered that their idol and Colombian hunk singer-songwriter Maluma were following each other on Instagram, E! News reported.

Even though fans were definitely hoping for a collaboration between Gomez and Maluma, Mexican pop star Paulina Rubio revealed a month ago that she’s teaming up with the “Kill Em With Kindness” songstress. According to Rubio, they were collaborating on a new material for the “Hotel Transylvania” star.

Gomez took the world by surprise when she announced in August 2016 that she’s taking a break to deal with the side effects of her Lupus, which include anxiety, panic attacks and depression. The announcement came amid her “Revival World Tour,” causing the cancellation of some scheduled performances, Entertainment Tonight reported.
