U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., is scheduled to endorse presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” NBC News reported. The endorsement will take place during an exclusive interview with Warren that starts at 9 p.m. EDT Thursday.

The move was widely expected. Warren has said she would endorse Clinton, just not when. Earlier Thursday, President Barack Obama announced his endorsement following a meeting with Clinton’s Democratic rival, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

Warren, 66, has not ruled out interest in serving as Clinton’s running mate, though the outspoken critic of Wall Street is more closely aligned ideologically with Sanders. Clinton officially clinched presumptive nominee status earlier this week.
