Serafina Restaurant Group has finally arrived on the West Coast with the opening of Serafina Sunset. This is the first California installment of the legendary New York City-based Italian eatery. The renowned restaurant chain, founded in 1995 by Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato, offers light Italian fare highlighted by delicious thin-crust pizza served in Serafina’s signature upbeat, energetic atmosphere from morning to night.
After debuting on Madison Avenue over 20 years ago, Serafina instantly became a popular destination for local families and trendy jetsetters. Assaf and Granato’s unique Serafina style was quickly embraced in New York and beyond as they opened seven more locations in NYC and expanded around the world. Alongside partners Mel B and Stephen Belafonte, Assaf and Granato have chosen the Sunset Boulevard location because of its vibrant nightlife and the prime West Hollywood scene.
“Working with Mel B and Stephen has been fantastic and we are so excited to part of the Sunset Boulevard family. The free-spirit and fun attitude and energy of LA is a perfect fit for our Serafina concept, where we love playing host to a fabulous mix of celebrities, families and other creative people,” says owners Assaf and Granato. “Los Angeles had been on our wish-list for a long time and our dream has finally come true.”
