Wednesday, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 9.4% year-over-year in March, slower than the 10.7% increase in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased 0.4% in March, compared with a 1.2% rise seen in the preceding month.

At the same time, consumer prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and tobacco, recreation and culture, rose 0.6%, while transport and clothing and footwear prices grew 0.4%.
