With Season 4 of “Shahs of Sunset” more than halfway over, Reza Farahan is finally ready to discuss his reasons for calling off his wedding. At the start of the season, the 42-year-old Bravo reslity star was preparing to walk down the aisle with longtime boyfriend Adam Neely. Unfortunately for the couple, issues at Reza's secret bachelor party, which viewers got a glimpse of in episode 11, jeopardized those plans.

According to E! News, Reza simply felt getting married wasn’t “the right thing to do.” He told the network that he and fiancé had issues that needed resolution before he could feel comfortable tying the knot. The reality star feared that had he not backed out of their wedding plans, he would have reverted to his old ways.

“I honestly didn’t feel like getting married was the right thing to do,” he said. “We had unresolved issues that needed to be addressed. Otherwise, there was a good chance the old, cheating Reza would have reared his head."

Instead, he packed up his things and jetted off to Thailand, where he was slated to have his destination wedding, sans Adam. Shortly after landing, he broke the news to the rest of the “Shahs" stars. Rather than waste the trip feeling sorry for himself, Reza and the gang decided to enjoy the vacation and, he says, being around his close friends - specifically Asifa Mirza and Bobby Talk - opened his eyes.

“Honestly, being in Thailand with my crazy crew and seeing how dysfunctional Asifa and Bobby were made me realize how great my relationship with Adam is,” he said.

During the bachelor party, which was thrown in secret by his friend Mercedes “MJ” Javid, Reza was shown drinking and crossing the line with a male stripper. Reza spent much of the night kissing the dancer between swigs from what appeared to be champagne. "Shahs" star MJ and Golnessa “GG” Gharachedaghi witnessed the incident, but decided not to step in. After the party, Reza and Adam sat down with a therapist to discuss the fate of their relationship. During the session Reza shared that getting married was “not happening.”

Reza and Adam, who have been together for nearly five years, are officially “back on track.” They have not, however, set another date to get married.
