Rio de Janeiro in Brazil recently hosted the world's biggest music festival.

Iconic singer Rihanna performed on the opening day of the Rock in Rio festival on Sept. 25.

The event also saw international artistes like Shakira and Katy Perry rocking the city.

Also, there were performances by Lenny Kravitz, Stevie Wonder, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jamiroquai, Metallica, Maroon 5, Guns N' Roses and top Brazilian singers like Ivete Sangalo.
