The makers of “Sharknado 2: The Second One” revealed new cast members for the anticipated sequel to Syfy’s summer hit, “Sharknado.”

According to reports, Kelly Osbourne, who is known for her appearances on “The Osbournes” and comedian Andy Dick have been cast in the upcoming movie, joining returning stars such as Ian Ziering, who played the role of Finley 'Fin' Shepherd and Tara Reid as April Wexler.

Osbourne will reportedly play the role of a flight attendant, while Dick will be seen as a police officer. Other actors added to the sequel's cast are Vivica A. Fox as Fin's old high-school friend, Skye; Mark McGrath as Fin's brother-in-law; Judah Friedlander as Brian; and veteran actor Judd Hirsch as a taxi driver.

The film, which is set in New York, will feature a freak weather system that unleashes its deadly fury over the city and lets loose a Sharknado on the population, and only the Sharknado experts -- Fin and April -- can save the city.

Anthony Ferrante returns as director with Thunder Levin yet again writing the script. The filming of “Sharknado 2” will begin next week for a July premiere on Syfy. “Sharknado,” which first aired in last July, was a social-media hit, despite negative reviews about its poor special effects and acting.

American actor Wil Wheaton reportedly said of the TV movie: “You fools! You foolish fools! We should have taken global warming seriously and now there's Sharknado!"

Actor Michael Chiklis also reportedly said about the TV movie: “Oh Goddamn it, now I want to see it too and then I’m gonna want to quit this business…again!”
