“Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” fans know the drill: From the ashes of heartbreak rises another man or woman who wants to find true love. The ABC dating show has a history of choosing an eliminated contestant as the next “Bachelor” or “Bachelorette,” and part of the fun in watching all season long is speculating about who will be the next star.

Desiree Hartsock, who starred in the 2013 season of “The Bachelorette,” previously appeared in Sean Lowe’s season of “The Bachelor.” One of Desiree’s eliminated contestants, Juan Pablo Galavis, was chosen as the next “Bachelor.” And from the train wreck of Juan Pablo’s season came contestant Andi Dorfman, who rose from the media bloodbath of that season to become the 2014 season's “Bachelorette.”

But who will take the reins for the next season of “The Bachelor” once Andi Dorfman’s season is over? It’s way too early to tell, but Desiree is already casting her vote.

In a blog post about this season's episode 2 of “The Bachelorette,” Desiree offered her thoughts on Andi’s one-on-one date with Chris. For those unfamiliar with the contestant, Chris is a 32-year-old farmer from Lamont, Iowa. Chris and Andi shared a romantic date at the Santa Anita horse racing track before a private performance by This Wild Life … where some steamy kissing occurred.

“The attraction between Andi and Chris is definitely apparent as she goes in for the kiss while dancing,” Desiree blogged. “I imagine him staying a long time, but if he doesn’t [end] up as Andi’s, then I think he would make a great Bachelor.”

And we have to agree!

During Chris and Andi’s one-on-one time, the contestant really opened up to the bachelorette, showing viewers that he was confident in the process of the dating show -- something that not all contestants are capable of doing. Revealing that he was previously engaged, Chris confided that he hadn’t been thinking with his heart at the time, and that his goal is to be with someone with whom he is excited to spend the rest of his life.
