After reports Wednesday said that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are planning to end their two-year marriage, Hollywood Life said that a divorce may lead to a “war” between the "Famous" singer and the Kardashian family. Reports alleged that Kardashian has filed for a $1 billion divorce from West, who has been posting extensive Twitter rants over the past few days.

Hollywood Life reported that so far the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star’s family has been concerned about West’s well-being because they believe in “family first.” However, if a divorce happens, they will support Kardashian and their public relations team will go against West in an explosive mode, the report added.

“As he’s Kim’s husband they will stick by him. If she does decide to pull the plug though, it’ll be war,” a source told Hollywood Life, adding: “Kanye should be afraid because when it comes to waging war in the media there is no one better than Kris Jenner and she will have her daughter’s back on this all the way. If they split, Kanye is in for a major nightmare.”

Hollywood Life said that momager Kris Jenner had convinced her daughter to end the marriage with West because she is embarrassed by his antics and feels that he has been hurting the family’s reputation. The report also said that West, who is reportedly under a debt of $53 million, stole money from his wife and she found out about it from her accountants.

However, contradictory reports on the divorce issue of the couple — who have two children together — are doing the rounds. Radar Online reported that Kardashian has not filed for the divorce yet but was fed up with West. A source told In Touch Weekly that Kardashian “announced” her divorce, but that rumor was debunked by Gossip Cop.

West has been embroiled in controversy since he first slammed his former girlfriend Amber Rose on Twitter last month. After that, he was heard dissing Taylor Swift in his song “Famous” and on Tuesday he also slammed Beck, who won the award for “Album of the Year” at the 2015 Grammys.

While West said that he had asked for Swift's permission to use the lyrics, a representative for the two-time “Album of the Year” Grammy winner denied that West ever approached her or talked to her about it.

On Wednesday, West posted a series of tweets slamming the Grammy Awards and said that the system was “way off and completely out of touch.” He also referred to himself as “the most important living artist” and continued to talk about how much he loved himself.
