The British screenwriter husband of deceased Brittany Murphy does not want an autopsy performed on his wife according to reports from TMZ.

Simon Monjack reportedly told hospital staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center he did not want an autopsy performed.

Actress and recording artist, Brittany Murphy, died Sunday following a Cardiac arrest at 32.

Murphy starred in several movies, including Just Married, Don't Say a Word and Riding in Cars with Boys. She also voiced the character Luanne on the animated TV series King of the Hill.

The couple married in a private Jewish ceremony in 2007.
