The Singapore dollar advanced to a 3-day high of 1.5171 against the US dollar on Thursday morning in Asia, compared to Wednesday's New York session closing value of 1.5189. On the upside, the Singapore currency is likely to find target near the 1.5055 level.

In economic news, Singapore will provide March PMI numbers, with analysts expecting an index score of 45.6 up from 45 in February.
