Singaporean GDP contracted by 7.8% during the quarter of April to June of 2011, compared with a previous expansion 22.5% in the fourth quarter of 2010 that revised to 27.2%, where the market's expectations estimated of 0.0%.

Moreover, Singaporean annualized gross domestic product widened to 0.5% during the 2nd quarter, from a previous 8.3% a year earlier, where was revised to 9.3%, while the actual reading came lower than with analyst's forecasts that estimated of 1.0%.
