RTTNews - Tourist arrivals into Singapore fell 6.1% year-on-year in April, after recording double-digit declines in the past three months, the country's Tourism Board said. Tourist arrivals totaled 780,000 in April.

During the month, visitor arrivals increased 41.3% from Hong Kong, while it rose 13.4% from Philippines and Vietnam and 12.4% from Germany. Moreover, tourists from Indonesia, People's Republic of China, Australia, India and Malaysia,accounted for 50% of the total arrivals, the Tourism Board said.

Meanwhile, visitor days totaled 3.2 million days in April, representing a decline of 3.3% from the previous year.
