Singer Pink Gives Birth to Her First Baby Daughter

Singer Pink, 31, and husband Carey Hart, 35, on Thursday celebrated the birth of their baby named Willow Sage Hart.

Pink, announced and confirmed the birth of her daughter via Twitter to her 4 million followers.

We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart. She's gorgeous, just like her daddy #beyondblessed.

On Wednesday she tweeted an ambiguous message to her followers saying:

New Moon in Gemini today :) a good time to start something new.... Also called the Honey Moon. #intoit,

Pink confirmed her pregnancy on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on November 15 saying I'm eating for two these days.

I didn't want to talk about it because I was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before, she said.

She was initially hesitant to confirm her pregnancy to the public.

Pink was very certain that her husband, who is a freestyle motocross motorcycle racer, would be a great father.

He's wanted to be a dad since - I mean, we've been together nine years on and off, and he brought it up two weeks after we met. So, he's wonderful, she told Access Hollywood in November of last year.

He's going to be a really, really cute daddy, she added.

Pink and Hart first met in 2001 and have been married since 2006. They were separated in 2008 but got back together in early 2010 after marriage counseling. Willow Sage Hart is their first baby.
