Though they may face some struggles in the upcoming season of “Sister Wives,” it appears things may be going well for Kody and Meri Brown when it comes to their marriage these days.

The couple went out for Meri’s birthday the other night and appeared to be snuggled up together during their meal, with Meri sharing a happy post on Instagram where she shared that they had found a wonderful restaurant in their new city of Flagstaff, Arizona, to celebrate at.

“So Kody and I went out for my birthday the other night and found this hidden gem in Flagstaff. I mean, maybe it was hidden, maybe we’re just new to town lol! #BlackBartsSteakhouse and Musical Revue was so fun, and we got to experience the musical talents of students from #NAU definitely a win!” she wrote.

She also accompanied the post, which saw her and Kody snuggled up together and smiling during the meal, with the hashtag #LifeFulfilled.

The post comes not long after the couple seemed to be struggling in the trailer for their reality show’s new season. While Meri wasn’t the most vocal against the family’s move to Flagstaff, she did run into problems with getting her bed and breakfast in Parowan, Utah, and was visibly upset when Kody explained to her that he couldn’t give her the money for a down payment on the property, and she angrily admitted in an interview portion of the clip that she felt like she wasn’t being supported and was willing to leave her family behind.

“Part of me wants to just stand up and say, okay fine, I don’t need you guys,” she said in the trailer.

“Sister Wives” airs new episodes beginning Sunday, Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
