RTTNews - Consumer prices in South Korea rose 2% year-on-year in June, slowing from a 2.7% rise in the previous month, the National Statistical Office said Wednesday. Economists expected an increase of 2.3%. The consumer price rise slowed down for the fourth consecutive month in June.

Month-on-month, consumer prices fell 0.1% in June, after remaining flat in May. Meanwhile, in the first six months of the year, consumer prices climbed 3.3% compared to the same period last year.
