“Sleepy Hollow” Season 4 will see Ichabod Crane head to Washington following Abbie Mills' death. Fox

Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) has a lot to look forward to after the tragic death of his partner, FBI Agent Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie), in Fox series “Sleepy Hollow.” Season 4 kicks off less than a month from now.

Fox shared a new promo art for the upcoming season of the supernatural drama to TVInsider. Although it has yet to be uploaded on the show’s Facebook page, fans can expect it to be up soon.

The photo shows a headless Crane carrying his own head in one arm. The poster says “Carry on,” which is likely a nod to fans who are still mourning the death of his fellow witness, Abbie.

Last season’s finale saw Crane’s (and fans’) world turn upside down with the death of his partner. However, a new mystery emerged from the wreckage. Ichabod was led out of town by a mysterious organization that promised him to put him in charge of an evil-fighting organization that was created hundreds of years ago by none other than George Washington.

The former Oxford professor channels his grief into uncovering the secrets of this organization while searching for his fellow witness. He heads to Washington and finds himself with a new team that consists of single mom and Secret Service Agent Diana (Janina Gavankar) and two member of Washington’s covert organization: Jake (Jerry MacKinnon) and Alex (Rachel Melvin).

The good news is that Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood), Abbie’s sister, will still be there in “Sleepy Hollow.” She will join Ichabod in his quest for locating the new witness.

Season 4 will also see the return of the Headless Horseman and Henry Parrish (John Noble), Ichabod’s son. Daniel Reynolds (Lance Gross) and Sophie Foster (Jessica Camacho) will not return.

“Sleepy Hollow” Season 4 premieres on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
