Monday, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced that the industrial production dropped 18% year-over-year in March, after falling 25.6% in February.

In March, manufacturing production declined 20.8% annually, while mining and quarrying production rose 1.9%. Production of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply decreased 4.1%.

For the January to March period, industrial production dipped 22.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
