RTTNews - Thursday, a report by the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic said the retail trade turnover at constant prices fell 9.2% year-on-year in April, after an 11.8% drop in March.

At the same time, wholesale trade turnover declined 28.9% at current prices in April. Turnover in accommodation at constant prices dropped 25.9%, and that in restaurant and beverage service activities slipped 29.2% at constant prices. Moreover, turnover in the sale and repair of motor vehicles and motor cycles was down 15% at constant prices in the month.

In the first four months of the year, retail trade turnover decreased 10.6% compared to the same period in the previous year.
