Tuesday, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced that the trade surplus stood at EUR 81.9 million in March, up from EUR 78.7 million surplus in February.

Exports decreased 20.1% year-on-year to EUR 3.35 million in March, while imports dropped 23.1% to EUR 3.27 million.

For the first three months of the year, exports and imports dropped by 28.6% and 28.2%, respectively. At the same time, the trade deficit amounted to EUR 51.2 million.
