RTTNews - Wednesday, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced that the industrial production dipped a working day adjusted 23.9% year-over-year in May, after falling 24.7% in April, revised from 24.8% fall reported initially.

At the same time, manufacturing production fell 26.9%, while mining and quarrying production dropped 4.2%.

Month-on-month, industrial production rose 10.3% in May, faster than the 9.7% increase in the previous month.

On an unadjusted basis, industrial production decreased 24.8% year-on-year in May, compared with a 25.9% fall in the previous month.

For the first five months of the year, manufacturing production dipped a working day adjusted 23.7% compared to the same period of the previous year. During the period, production fell an unadjusted 24.1%.

Separately, the statistical office said the construction production decreased 3.9% year-on-year in May, after falling 13.9% in April.
