RTTNews - Slovakia's current account deficit stood at EUR 576.4 million in the January to March period, the Národna banka Slovenska or the country's central bank said Tuesday.

During the three months, the goods account deficit stood at EUR 46.7 million, while the services account deficit totaled EUR 396.2 million. The income account deficit was EUR 78.6 million and the current transfers account deficit amounted to EUR 54.9 million.

Meanwhile, the capital account showed a surplus of EUR 253 million and the financial account recorded a surplus of EUR 613.1 million.

In the January-February period, the current account deficit stood at EUR 424.3 million.
