RTTNews - Tuesday, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said the trade deficit narrowed to EUR 43.11 million in April from EUR 88.63 million in March.

Exports dropped 29.7% year-on-year to EUR1.29 billion in April, while imports slipped 34.9% to EUR 1.34 billion.

During the January to April period, exports dipped 24.4% to EUR 5.19 billion, and imports fell 29% to EUR 5.47 billion from the same period in the previous year. At the same time, the trade deficit stood at EUR 272.34 million.
