RTTNews - Monday, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia announced that average monthly gross earnings in real terms grew 4% year-over-year in April, larger than the 3.4% increase in the previous month.

Month-on-month, gross earnings dropped 0.2% in April, after rising 2.1% in March.

For the first four months of the year, gross earnings increased 3.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.

In nominal terms, the average monthly gross earnings increased 5.1% year-over-year in April, compared with a 5.3% increase in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, average monthly gross earnings dropped 0.1% in April, in contrast to a 3.1% increase in the preceding month.

During the January to April period, average monthly gross earnings increased 5.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, average monthly net earnings increased 4.7% annually in April and it was down 0.1% compared to the prior month.
