Wednesday, a report by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said the consumer confidence indicator increased by one percentage point in March compared to February.
In March, the confidence indicator was down by 7 percentage points in the retail sector, while it declined by 6 percentage points in the construction sector. In the services sector, the confidence indicator decreased by 5 percentage points. The manufacturing confidence indicator declined by 2 percentage points.
Meanwhile, the economic sentiment indicator fell 2 percentage points, to reach its lowest value in the observed period.
Year-on-year, the consumer confidence indicator fell 22 percentage points. At the same time, the confidence indicator declined by 41 percentage points in manufacturing, and by 56 percentage points in retail trade. Moreover, the confidence indicator decreased by 50 percentage points in services and was down by 64 percentage points in construction.
The economic sentiment indicator decreased by 42 percentage points in March compared to last year.
