RTTNews - Consumer prices in Slovenia rose 0.7% year-on-year in May, slower than a 1.1% rise in the previous month, the Statistical Office said Friday.

Month-on-month, consumer prices were up 0.6% in May compared to a 0.1% increase in April.

Meanwhile, the harmonized index of consumer prices increased 0.5% in May from the previous year, after a 1.1% rise in April. On a monthly basis, the HICP was up 0.6% compared to a 0.2% increase in the preceding month.

In the first five months of the year, consumer prices climbed 1.5% while the HICP was up 1.3% compared to the same period last year.
