RTTNews - Monday, a report by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said the industrial turnover rose 3.2% month-on-month in May, reflecting a rise in turnover from both the manufacturing as also mining and quarrying sectors.

Mining and quarrying turnover rose 3.2%, while manufacturing turnover was up 3.1%. Year-on-year, the industrial turnover dropped 18.5%. In the first five months of the year, the turnover was down 21.4%.

Meanwhile, the new orders rose 4% month-on-month in May, reflecting a 9% rise in domestic orders and a 3.1% growth in non-domestic new orders. Year-on-year, new orders fell 30.3% in May, and in the first five months of the year, the turnover was down 34.3% from last year.
