Wednesday, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia announced that the tourist arrivals declined 10% year-over-year in February, compared with a 1% fall in the previous month.

Meanwhile, overnight stays decreased 7% year-over-year in February, after falling 2% in January. The number of overnight stays of domestic tourists decreased 2% in February, while the number of overnight stays of foreign tourists declined 14%.

For the first two months of the year, total tourist arrivals dropped 3% compared to the same period of the previous year. During the same period, overnight stays declined 2%.
