Slovenia's industrial turnover dropped a working day adjusted 20.9% year-on-year in January, compared with a 22.1% fall in the previous month, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said Friday.

On an annual basis, manufacturing turnover slipped 20.9% in January, while mining and quarrying turnover declined 19.7%.

Month-on-month, industrial turnover rose a seasonally adjusted 1.4% in January, reversing a 4.1% fall in December.

Meanwhile, industrial new orders rose 9.4% on a monthly basis in January, but plunged 39.9% from the previous year.
